We spent a week in the coastal meadows and tidal shallows with a number of different Coastal Brown (Grizzly) bears. There were several sows with cubs, both spring cubs (born this year) and two year olds.
There was even a camp nuisance the lodge folks named Blondie, who would visit the lodge grounds and liked to tear up 4-wheeler seats and wheelbarrow tires. She put on quite a show a number of times. You can see her checking out the lodge sign in the gallery.
For me, this week exceeded my expectations. I made all the images I had in mind when I went and then some.
