Swamp Buggy Races

A unique activity in Florida is a racing phenomenon called Swamp Buggy Races. Near Naples, a "track" called the Mile O Mud is carved out of the soft Florida soil in the shape of a figure 8. Three times a year an eclectic group of racers and fans gather for the races in a number of classes. Many of the racers are home built, customized for the unusual "track".
