The Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands, most often called Viera Wetlands, is locate on Wickham Road, Viera Florida. We have been spending a couple of hours there each year on our trip to photograph the Ospreys at Blue Cypress Lake, which is near Vero Beach. Located about an hour north of Vero Beach, the Wetlands can be productive with a variety of species. Since we usually get there during the harsh light of afternoon, and can only spend a few hours, it hasn't been as productive as I had hoped. But, this year we got a few great images of a Sand Hill Crane family.
