The
Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo is held each year in March in Arcadia Florida. We went in 2012 for the first day. It is an action packed spectator experience that gives you a little bit of feeling about Florida's history with cattle ranching.
It is both an amateur and professional competition, with the animals being supplied by a pro rodeo supplier.
Some folks don't appreciate using these magnificent animals for sport. But, being a believer in loving what is, I can appreciate both the skill of the competitors and the spirit of the animals. This is a sport in which very often the animal wins!
For a photographer, a rodeo is a colorful, full of action spectacle.
