Images from a three week expedition to the Antarctic. The trip started in Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. 50 intrepid travelers boarded the Polar Pioneer, an expedition ship chartered by Aurora Expeditions, located in Australia.
The bulk of the travelers were photographers who had signed up through Andy Biggs or Joshua Holko.
I will be writing blog entries to describe the incredible sights, sounds, smells and impressions of this incredible place, south of the 60th parallel.
