In July, 2019, my wife and I joined three other couples from our neighborhood and traveled to Portugal. We spent four nights in Lisbon and the traveled to Porto, where we boarded the Scenic Azure, for a cruise on the Douro river. Our journey took about a week and, while not a great distance, provided numerous interesting places to stop and visit as well as beautiful scenery.
