In July, 2022, my family of 11 and 2 friends traveled to Tanzania, hoping to experience the great migration. For me, it was an opportunity to share with my children and grandchildren my love for Africa as well as photography. It did not disappoint!
We stayed in three locations and experienced the NgogoNgoro crater, the western Serengeti and the Northern Serengeti. Highlights were many interactions with herds of Wildebeest, lots of lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes and zebra. We were lucky to experience three Mara river crossings as the Wildebeest are starting their trek into Kenya.
But most of all was experiencing the wonder on the faces of my 5 grandchildren as they observed and photographed it all.
